Eight young couples are giving it their all to transform four properties in Nieuwpoort, Haasdonk, Mechelen, and Lummen into stunning dream homes. And the ultimate prize? Their very own house!
This season, Maatkasten Online is back in action! The couples get to design their interiors with beautiful custom-made wardrobes – perfectly tailored to fit their dream home. 😍
Under the watchful eye of a top-tier jury – contractor Cerina Marchetta, interior architect Bart Appeltans, and real estate expert Béa Vandendael – every renovation will be judged and evaluated. And of course, Dina Tersago will guide us through this rollercoaster of emotions, stress, and jaw-dropping makeovers.

The bedrooms!
The couples’ first bedrooms are ready! And of course, no dream room is complete without a dream wardrobe from Maatkasten Online 😉
Here are the custom designs you’ve already spotted on the show:
Bedroom Soumaya & Eros, Haasdonk – Custom built-in wardrobe with a slanted left side, finished in Industrial Green, Weave Wool Beige, and Green Shadow, with cream Tonton handles. Surrounding filler panels still to be completed. Custom bench in matching colors, with a 36 mm top and handle trim, seat height 48 cm.
Children's Room Nico & Daisy, Lummen – Wall unit combining a tall wardrobe and a low bench, semi-freestanding on the left side. Finished in Front White with Leather Loop copper leather handles.
Soumaya and Eros (💚Haasdonk) chose a made-to-measure wardrobe spanning the entire wall, with a slanted section perfectly following the roofline and a cozy built-in bench. Their color combo? Industrial Green and Weave Wool Beige on the outside, Green Shadow on the inside. The Tonton profile handles tie everything together. And that surround finish for a built-in look? Maybe just a bit too tight on the deadline… or a creative statement?
Nico and Daisy (❤️Lummen) went all in on a true unicorn kids’ room, featuring a wall unit with a tall wardrobe and a practical bench. The white cabinet is playfully finished with leather Leather Loop handles.
Luca and Sarvar (💙Nieuwpoort) created a space of pure calm. They opted for handleless wardrobes in the soft wood tone Atlas Oak – a full-height wardrobe and a matching drawer unit. Everything radiates warmth and simplicity. So zen!

Ruth and Bowdy (❤️Mechelen) went for a custom wardrobe in the soft shade Dune Beige, also reaching all the way to the ceiling. They included an open section for decor and cozy little items.

The living rooms
Yesterday on Huis Gemaakt, we saw the big reveal of the living rooms. And of course: a dream living room wouldn't be complete without dream cabinets from Maatkasten Online! 😉
These cabinets made an appearance in the show:
Living room Axelle and Seppe, Nieuwpoort - Floating TV cabinet , finished in the grey shade Turtle Grey. Handleless design with handle rail.
Living room Mo and Iman, Lummen - Made-to-measure open-plan ceiling cabinet in the warm Lorenzo Walnut shade. Top finishing panel to be finished so that the cupboard fits nicely against the ceiling.
Axelle and Seppe (💙 Nieuwpoort) chose a long, floating TV cabinet in the warm grey shade Turtle Grey — a beautiful match with the wood accents in the room. The doors open without handles thanks to a subtle grip rail at the top.
Mo and Iman (❤️ Lummen) went for an open ceiling cabinet in the warm wood tone Lorenzo Walnut. The finishing around it? The deadline may have just gotten in the way there… But honestly? You don’t miss it at all. The overall interior look feels so complete already! 🙌✨👏
Living room of Ashley and Emiel, Mechelen - Low L-shaped TV furniture that is also used as a sofa in beautiful wood shade Lorenzo Walnut. Handleless design with handle rail.
Eros and Soumaya, Haasdonk - Semi-detached TV cabinet in our new colour Natural Sage. Handle-less design with grip rail and open module without door.
Ashley and Emiel (💛 Mechelen) opted for a low L-shaped TV cabinet that also serves as a bench – again in the cozy wood tone Lorenzo Walnut. Thanks to the grip rails, the doors open fully handle-free — perfect for a bench, with no knobs to get in the way.
Eros and Soumaya (💚 Haasdonk) went for a soft green TV cabinet in our newest shade Natural Sage. They chose to include an open section in the design – ideal for books, a lamp, or decoration. The color ties in perfectly with the walls and wooden floor. 🌿
The renovations are in full swing! 🛠️
